Guest (6.3 years ago) I was recently looking into Game server hosts and had found an old friend Hyplex Servers, so I thought I should do a review. Hyplex Servers has surprised me in ways that are unknown. Although I expected it to be really bad because it was cheap I didn’t think twice about it, I decided to test out a Garry’s Mod server to really see what Hyplex was like in 2018 and was surprised in every way possible. First I tried the props, like any popular server there will always be a lot of props, no more than 500 (usually) but I had my standards higher and set it to 1000, after 1000 props I didn’t encounter any sort of “slingshotting” (Where you get flicked around due to lag) and had only gone up by about 10 ping, which surprised me quite a bit. After that I didn’t remove the props and I got 32 bots to come and join and shoot around. Still no lag with an amazing 10 ping rise. I was getting quite frustrated at this point and was on the verge of deeming this server “uncrashable” until I thought I should spam man hacks, now keep in mind manhacks are very heavy resourced and even if you spam as much as I did on any server it would die. I spammed over 50 manhacks and then the killing began, at this point I only had a 20 ping rise, so I spammed another 150 and then the slingshotting seriously took place, I didn’t deem it unplayable. So i decided to up the prop limit to over 2000 and spam big props, which eventually crashed the server. Incase you are wondering what I just said, this means that this server host gives what you pay for, they give the quality of a game server host and are sure to not let you down. However, the initial starting process of the server itself does need to be shortened and there needs to be more tips and tricks for newbies into the gaming scene. This was the Garry’s Mod server, however I haven’t personally tested Rust or the other games but hope to soon. Overall, For a really low price and really good service I’m not to sure what could be better. This host is fantastic for Garry’s Mod and can easily cater for big servers with over 70 people.

Guest (6.7 years ago) Good host. Has only gone down once for like 30 minutes since last time I used them. Has definetly improved since new management came in. Pricing is fair, would recommend to communities that are starting out.

Guest (7.1 years ago) Support absolutely terrible if you only wanna be helped by one person he's the man that only does stuff named Connor he's the only reason why Hyplex is still alive. The website is complete scam really doesn't do refund for automatic payments after it's been a week of server and ask the next day they're just about making money and to extort it from you bought a dedi from them and wasn't worth the money. Connor the best thing the company has.
